I have my lawyer on digital recording lying to me. I'm about to file a bar grievance. I was wondering how much you charge for a half hour consultation? I would happily pay you whatever you suggest. The email is a verbatim transcript of my conversation. Great show today. You, Eddie and Deborah take care.
The police in this area are the #1 worst for harassing. My son and his g/f Rachel were walking in our very small nice little neighborhood, barely any traffic, no traffic lights, not even any lines painted in the road. they wait for a car to pass (which happens to be a police car)to cross the road to get on the sidewalk. Police turns around and stops his car in the road, my son & Rachel are on the sidewalk by this time, police gets out of the car walks over to the sidewalk and tells them they just committed a traffic violation and needs to see their ID. Rachel doesn't have an ID and he asks her name and SSN, cop goes to his car, comes back and tells Rachel she has an old outstanding warrant in Smith Co under her maiden name for a failure to appear, and tells her she is under arrest, he calls for back up, back up cop has to stand beside them with his hand on his gun while the other cop puts handcuffs on her takes her to jail, they post her bail for 5k and labels her as a flight risk. WTF... Rachel said it
Posted By: ChrisCulpepper - 2012-05-11 08:51:07 the rest of your story got cut off...
Posted By: rhonda9095 - 2012-05-11 19:45:14 Rachel said it (the warrant) was for something she didn't even do, she went to court to try and tell her side of the story, they put it off twice and never heard anything else about it. until now that is. What is this poor girl suppose to do, please, any help would be very much appreciated.

Would like to talk about Eddies traffic package. I have it and live in California. Have a traffic infraction (going over a double yellow line). Have to go to court in ten days and need some suggestions. Is this the right forum?
Posted By: mindrd - 2012-01-30 23:15:53 This would be a suggestive forum, but as you can see, it isn't very busy right now. Also, we are going to need to know more information about the situation first before anyone can help you. Is this your initial appearance and what have you filed with the court up to this point?
Posted By: GA Freeman - 2012-01-31 06:40:37 I got a class C misdemeanor in Charlotte NC and used the traffic package to learn how to fight it. I got it dismissed after multiple trips to court and not doing it correctly at all. I did however use the paperwork to right my own paperwork and study the laws and find how they violated due process. I wrote judicial conduct complaints, filed criminal affidavits, motions, threatened to sue and finally it was dismissed.
Posted By: mindrd - 2012-01-31 21:17:47 I so far got six tickets dismissed, three of which got dismissed from writting a letter to Three Rivers Texas telling them that they lack jurisdiction and I told them to send me my complaints. I got an motion to dismiss from the Prosecutor two months later. Now i have 5 tickets to fight in two cities, however, I haven't been able to get them dismissed as my motions go totally ignored.
I am about to file criminal complaints on them and forward it to the Grand Jury Now, I am sick of dealing with this right. Are you still going to sue them? i haven't told them about my lawsuit that I almost have written up yet
Posted By: dstevens - 2012-02-02 01:11:54 We are in the process of setting up a discussion forum which will have categories for transportation, criminal, civil, state, federal, foreclosures, etc, and folks can break these various categories down by state as well. There will also be a calendar function on the forum for folks to post their court dates, etc. The forum is not set up yet.
The wall here is for the primary purpose of leaving general feedback and general comments for the shows and the network. However since the forum is not set up yet, folks are welcome to start threads to discuss various legal issues. If you have specific questions about Eddie's Traffic Seminar Package, please email Eddie@ruleoflawradio.com.

I am a new listener but after listening to half a dozen archived shows I quickly decided to become new member!
I was wondering if "Jurisdictionary" or any other course would be most beneficial for helping me defend myself against a misdemeanor assault charge. I was attacked by my friends two room mates. They initiated the attack. I defended myself. They both received minor injuries (a few bumps and bruises). After both men were subdued I quickly made my escape. This incident occurred almost 2 years ago. I had no idea that they contacted local police after I escaped. I also had no idea that a warrant had been issued for my arrest. I was NEVER contacted by law enforcement during the past two years! I discovered the warrant after being pulled over for a traffic stop (5 days ago). The officer seemed a bit confused and asked if I had recently moved. I told him that the address on my drivers license has been the same for the past ten years. Apparently the warrant was issued to the wrong address! I know that traffic consultations are an ounce of silver/hr. I am hoping that misdemeanor consultations are around the same price
Posted By: - 2012-02-18 05:17:07 Rearden, Jurisdictionary helps with civil suits. The program is an essential foundation of legal education every American should be aware of. Although it sounds as if your specific set of circumstances involve criminal matters, Jurisdictionary will still be helpful in understanding motions, and causes of actions.
Jurisdictionary will also help you understand how to keep your lawyer on a tight leash. Learn what motions is your attorney making or not making on your behalf. What are the elements necessary for the prosecution to allege and ultimately prove? Are there admissions, or interrogatories that your attorney could be drafting/asking the complainant that would validate your version of the story?
If you don't keep you attorney on a tight leash, you could actually be aiding your attorney in your own demise. While Jurisdictionary mostly deals with lawsuits, a student of the program would undoubtedly get value out of the program. It's my strong belief that you should be as involved as possible in ANY legal proceding against you. No one has more of a vested interest in the outcome as you.
hello Everyone, My brother just lost his case for "No Driver's License" and "No Insurance" in Texas. I wrote this motion for a New Trial, please review what i wrote and give me some criticism on it so I can make it better. I left out law citation to make it short and sweet. It is only 4 pages. here it is
Just caught last Friday's Show and it was awesome. Phil is the most interesting guy since Harmon. Please bring him back and this time keep Randy under check. Just teasing him. Great show though, more please.
I just joined because I really appreciate y'all. I have used every course you guys offer and this is all the real deal! I have been listening and for about a year and I have read Jurisdictionary and now been in court and filed and won a law suit pro se. However, I still feel like I am drinking through a fire hose. This is the most vital usable info I have ever encountered, I hope you get all the support you need and deserve.
While most people will wait until they are in a quandary with the government, I think it is the height of folly to wait until then. The knowledge needed to stand one's ground against the government officials misusing their delegated authority should be honed and refined long before such encounters. I asked for listeners in the DFW area to contact me to form a pro se group. You do not need to be in trouble now for this type of gathering. It is better that you are not in trouble. The prudent man foresees the trouble and avoids it.
When are the shows going to be RSS fed through Logos? As I understand it, Rule of Law will still be fed through the ROL website, but all other shows would be rerouted to this site. Any comments webmaster?
Posted By: way - 2012-01-17 17:39:34 I think Deborah has changed the streams, I made some adjustments last night.
Posted By: dstevens - 2012-01-17 21:17:20 Alex, it is a tremendous undertaking to change a stream url and podcast urls. We have to migrate all the archives from the last 4 years to having new urls for each and every link to each archive. We have to create a new archive page and new RSS/podcast feeds and test them before going live. All the archives including the Rule of Law show will soon be on Logos. The Rule of Law show will not be fed through the Rule of Law website anymore. Logos is the name of the network now. It takes time to migrate to a new network, but it should be completed within a week or so.
I have been completely slammed finishing the audio for the documentary, "A Noble Lie," I was the chief sound engineer for that movie. Eric the website admin has been slammed as well. We could have waited another 4 months to launch everything at the same time, but we wanted to get a beta version up as soon as possible. Soon there will be many more features such as a calendar so people can post court dates so they can get court watchers, etc. All this is soon to come.
I bought Jurisdictionary and the Traffic Seminar two years ago. I have made a reluctant effort to wade through both the Texas constitution and Texas statutes. I don't see live court processes, but I know I need to. Therefore I am seeking fellowship to discuss pro se tatics and to understand court processes in the Dallas/Ellis counties area. Please contact me if you wish to join me in forming such a group.
Posted By: - 2012-10-25 20:39:22 rEAD THE POST HERE UNTIL A FORUM IS OFFICIAL, I HAVE READ AND DONE IT MY-SELF AND TELL THE COURT THAT YOU CHALLENGE JURIS-DICTION (OATH-SPOKEN) SINCE THEY COURT HAS AN OATH TO DEFEND YOUR RIGHT TO LIBERTY AND DRIVING IS A LIBERTY, AS LONG AS NOBODY IN DIRECT HARMS WAY (YOU HIT A CAR) GOOGLE RIGHT TO TRAVEL AND YOU WILL FIND ALOT OF CASE LAW, CASE LAW IN LAST 50 YRS HAS CHANGED AGAINST US, BUT PRIOR TO 1950 DRIVING WAS A RIGHT NOT A PRIVILAGE SO NO NEED FOR DRIVERS LICENSE
I think it would be beneficial if everyone goes to the chat room during the show so we can talk about what is being discussed. Lets use the new tools that are available to us!!!!
I had purchased the Jurisdictionary and Traffic Seminar as well as had sent several checks to D Stevens to support there work. With the new CMS website, I am glad to make these auto draft payments to support the work. It is a negligible amount in comparison to the wealth of information freely given through their broadcasts and online materials. I am honored to be counted amongst them as a brother in Christ and fellow patriot.

Posted By: TexasJeff - 2011-12-31 00:39:13 I do not mind payments either. However, I wish I could pay in yearly payments...
Posted By: cdolenz - 2012-01-02 21:14:28 Yearly would be more stable for me and profitable for the network, right? Monthly gives a more accurate assessment of the community on here, though.
Posted By: dstevens - 2012-01-18 20:24:19 Folks, no worries, we're just getting things rolling. It's easy for a lot of folks to contribute just a little every month, that's why we set it up like this at first. If y'all would rather do a yearly subscription, that's wonderful! We welcome input and ideas. We'll be updating and developing the site on an ongoing basis according to what folks need and request. Please contact me at deborah@ruleoflawradio.com if you wish to subscribe yearly.
Posted By: - 2012-01-19 14:04:52 Thanks Deborah, I got your email the other day, I will get that taken care of this weekend. Thank you :)
But like where is the freedom fighters? We need to help support the cause, because it matters. Jeez just under 4 bucks and you possibly have all the info. at your finger tips. Guess i'm a little excited for the future, its NOW looking purtty good. Thanx web-man, AWESOME JOB! Peace and Merry Christmas to you and the family.
I was ordered by the Municipal court in Westworth Village Texas to get mentally evaluated because I was objecting to everything that I could. Then the judge, Cass Callaway, decided that a court doesn't receive information request or affidavits and denied them on the spot because I refused them to be treated like motions. The information request and the Affidavit of initial appearance was already filed with the court the day after I was stopped, the 15th of Nov. Anyway, the court ordered me to get mentally evaluated within 30 days from the 1st of Dec. and now I don't know what to do. I filed a motion to void orders due to lack of Jurisdiction, but no reply as everyone probably already knows. Anyway, I went to court for "Crossing over a Driveway", "Failure to Display Driver's License", and "Failure to show proof of Insurance". I objected to the prosecutor not being an Attorney of the State, no complaint on file, No jurisdiction, no information or Indictment, objected to the court clerks phone

Posted By: ChrisCulpepper - 2011-12-14 23:55:00 This is a tactic that has picked up steam in the last few years (by courts against Pro Se defendants). One tactic is to get your own mental evaluation before you go to court (and bring with you), because sometimes the court has you detained immediately (while in court) for a psych eval...
Posted By: mindrd - 2011-12-15 01:18:26 Thanks Everyone for the help. I am currently filling motions to disqualify the judge and the complaints mentioned on the show. I am working on a lawsuit against the Officer, and I would like some feed back from people once I finish the draft for the complaint in case of improvements or changes needing to be made.
Posted By: cdolenz - 2012-01-02 21:32:47 A mental evaluation is good for probably a year as long as no event happens that prosecutor, your court-appointed attorney, and/or magistrate can pin recent "instability" on --really neat idea ChrisCulpepper.
Posted By: ChrisCulpepper - 2012-04-09 09:35:24 thanks for the props cdolenz
